It’s hard to believe that Hertlein Grant Writing just finished our 20th year of operation. Thank you so much for all of you who have contributed to our success over the years. Our first client was SPARC, an early intervention nonprofit for children with disabilities. It’s gratifying that 20 years later we were still writing grants for SPARC, and had raised close to $1 million for their programs. We have a number of clients who we’ve been able to work with over the years, and many that we only do one or a couple of grants for on an as-needed basis. Over the course of our history we have worked with more than 300 nonprofit organizations, and we are happy to support each one.
In addition to welcoming new clients, we had some other organizational changes at Hertlein Grant Writing. After six years of remote working from Turkey, Michael left the firm to give his full attention to his work in the Middle East. Amanda also left Hertlein Grant Writing, but to start her own grant writing firm, Maple Grove Grants, that complements her work with Maple Grove Events. Currently operating as an affiliate organization, Maple Grove Grants includes two part-time writers (Amanda and Vanessa) and they are growing their own client list. Due to these changes we have had to reduce our client load at HGW a bit this year, but we are pleased to report another year of great wins for wonderful nonprofits.
Total HGW grants for 2023 (not including MGG): 42 agencies won awards through 216 successful grants. Total Received = $5,667,450.
Looking forward to another successful year in 2024!
