“Hope for Kids” Program for School Children in Haiti
By providing a goat to school children and giving them the necessary training and tools to successfully raise it, World Concern helps the children earn enough income to continue their education after primary school, securing a better economic future. Hope for Kids added a new sponsorship program to provide additional funding for tuition, books, and medical care.
Maui Economic Opportunity
Head Start for Low-Income Children
A multi-million dollar federal grant will provide Head Start services that include a new Trauma Informed Care program, while offering quality learning environments that welcome children and families. Services will be provided to low-income preschool children in Maui County including the islands of Maui and Molokai.
Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County
Health Center Controlled Network
Education and Advocacy will be provided, through a multi-year federal grant, to 45 health centers who support low-income individuals in Los Angeles. Enhancements will include using telehealth/remote patient monitoring technology and other digital tools to improve the health of patients receiving care at 313 individual service sites.
